Curb rash repair on matte black wheels
Wondering if you can get curb rash repair performed on a matte black wheel or if its even worth it to do?
Anyone tried?

I bought a set of used stance sc5 matte black 19" last year that had a lot of curb rash. So I had them repaired and powder coated gloss black. I'm not sure if it's worth it to get them just repaired , that the reason I powder coated because it was just a few dollars more than repairing.

Take it to Son Tran or Onsite Wheels. He'll fix for a great price.

I hAve always done it myself. Just some bondo, self etching primer, and VHTC matte wheel paint. Just sand down the affected area and tape the surroundings. Call me cheap, bUT it looks good and I don't see the point on having you whole wheel refinish whenot eventually you are going to get another curb rash again

I found this website a few days ago. I have not used them but you might want to check it out. They come to your location and perform the repairs on the spot. It is "awrswheelrepair.com".
