Will the dealer replace my rotors?

When I drive at highway speeds from time to time my steering wheel shakes/vibrates when I hit the brakes. I'm goin in for my 45k service in two weeks. ( the car should have about 41k by then). Do you think the dealer will cut or replace the rotors? Not to familiar will the dealer free service plan.

Is there anything else I should tell them to do? This will be my last trip to the dealer. Other work down the line I will do myself or take it to an euro shop.

Thanks.

The more you complain, the more they fix. They will replace your rotors and break pads for the service.

I would say break everything and have them replace new ones LOL!

The one thing nobody can fix are the d*** seat belt extenders. I had them replaced and they're shot again, out-of-warranty.

Nice happy to hear that. Going to try to get everything I can. My drivers side seat belt extender will not grab also.

if they can duplicate the problem and find something wrong with the brakes they will replace it.

What's a "break" pad?

I had front rotors replaced under warranty during 45k service; I had pulsing in the brake pedal when slowing. Mechanic found the front rotors were out of spec and replaced them.

If you work with a good SA, he or she knows various "magic words" to get certain systems checked and potentially replaced if out of spec before the warranty ends.

Now they measure the brakes. They have to be able to prove they were worn or nedded to be replaced for some other reason. Just because you complain is not enough.
