So I thought I'd start the ball rolling.:wink:
Since there's quite a few American owners on here, I guess you'd be the perfect people to ask: I've seen the term 'SoCal' thrown around quite a bit in recent times while referring to California.
Why exactly is it called that?
One of life's little mysteries for an ignorant Englishman.

Haha thats too funny. Yea its true sometimes some terms we just take for granted I guess.

SoCal = Southern California. California has a culture of its own separate from the rest of the US, and Southern California has an even more separated culture. You'll see alot of wealth, sun, and ... roadsters there

and you'll sometimes see NorCal for "Northern California"

This 'SoCal' looks like quite a nice place from the way it's made to look in this country. Lots of Z4s suits me.:biggrin:

At some point not too long ago, 50% of all Porsches in the USA were there. I am not sure if this remains true....
