Question Accidental Brake Reset Now Showing _____

Hi, Hope this is the place to post this.

Its brake related and programming related so here it go's.(more brake related tho)

Serviced a 335I 2006/7 and also replaced the rear pads, reset all the service lights no problem apart from one that was a mistake.

It didn't need front pads but when resetting all the service items I reset the fronts by mistake. (just wasn't paying attention), now the brake warning light is on and milage is just showing the blank lines.

Is there a way to reset this? as the pads do not need replacing. I have tried using the BC method many times with no success.

I have all the gear as i do program my own BMW.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Phoned my local BMW Dealer and spoke to one of the mechanics. I was told this happens even in the dealer. However, this can be sorted by using BMW computers to manually program the remaining milage etc. He failed to answer which software they use, INPA or whatever.

So the new question is: Does anyone know how to reset these lights using any of the BMW Software? Providing all the equipment is to hand.

Thanks
Mike

I did that too..

I replaced the brake sensor and reset the brake cbs again which resolved the issue.
