New Parts Need Installed

Just got a JB4, DCI and OCC for the 335. Although I am mechanically inclined, I am leary of messing with this stuff, if it was a small block Chevy, I would jump right on it.

Anyone have any experience installing this stuff that is wants to make some $$$ helping me. I live in Waldorf and have a three car climate controlled garage, plenty of tools and a fridge full of beer and soda. I am happy to pay you for your time and expertise.

+1 on Clem.

On the OCC, have you read through the info on the tech forums. OCC does not always give positive results on our cars.

I have not seen anything negative about them. They can be harmful?

People were experiencing problems with higher boost levels and OCC resulting in turbo failure. This was about 1.5 years ago. I'm not sure if the problem was ever diagnosed past that, as when those people removed their OCC, their turbos stopped failing. Higher boost was in the range of 19/20 psi.

Some of the available OCCs don’t flow well, and can cause pressure to back up in the crankcase. Obviously not good. The BMS design is approved by Rob Beck, and is absolutely the only option on the market I would run under “high” boost. So if you have the BMS OCC, I would not worry about running it unless you plan on exceptionally high boost from a single turbo. The amount of boost coming from stock frame turbos will be OK with the BMS.

Go to Clem (Adam) or Luther. They’re both excellent and extremely reasonable price wise. If they quote me a price, I usually don’t even bother asking around elsewhere, it’s very likely the best price I’ll find. Luther was kind enough to knock out coilovers on a Sunday night, and I’d trust Adam to do anything one can do on an N54. They’re both great.

His name is Adam but you can look him up on the board here under "Clem" and just send him a private message. There's probably an easier way but you can search for a post by Clem and then click on his name and the drop down offers a "Send Private Message" option. If you really have trouble I can have him contact you...prefer not to give out his cell number.

I can help you. I'd just charge you a sixer of something hoppy. I'm in Alexandria south of Old Town off the GW parkway.
