i asked Ramez to upload again. there is no difference if you want keyless go and don t want keyless entry. for keyless entry what is extra is the handle and 3 antennas

the important parts are still needed: module + key

Hello i did it in the same time last year.
Pics aren't mandatory, read all the thread, each step is explained and i made a technical Doc, see post#100 for an E89 chassis according ISTA with each reference part, but you can verify with your VO, i have an E92 pack M so I only changed the Doors harnesses, because of the CA handles plug, impossible to find them separatly.
The ''hard'' part is to get the CA key, as without it this retrofit is impossible. See with ''BM Mania'', they sent me the key and also update the BMW VO database.
If you prefer you can buy the whole harness provided there with Dimitru.

PS: for me the shit was to unmount the fuse box adding only one wire (12V).

I've done my project 3 months ago! Just only plug and play. Retrofit never easy than that. Thanks Dimitru again!
One more thing,You have to stay away from the trunk about 30cm - 40cm for opening it!.
If you stand too close, It'll not open! I think it for more safety. If you stay too close, the trunk can hit your face

Question...if I get my keys coded before I do the retrofit, will they work to start the car or no? I want to confirm that these work. I got fresh blanks from an ebay seller in Malaysia, i think it was. He had great feedback. Was 140 for both keys

Have completed this today. Only the new keyfob is a issue to order. Do not know somebody who knows how you can update the bmw databass.. I now try to fix this with a blank imitation ca key.

another wiring + CA key was delivered to Italy just before Christmas




MalsBmw i can help you with the update of the BMW database and then you can order yourself the key from BMW but the best way would be to order the key, price will be better then just to have the database updated alone.

do not try to make Chinese copy of the key because it won t work and then when you will order the original CA key you will find out that one also don t work because you put the Chinese copy in it s place....... one colleague here from Vietnam did that and in the end we had to order new CAS+CA Key to get it work, his first ordered CA was useless because of the Chinese copy he made before

Hi there,

I'm in the process of installing comfort access to a 2008 E87 130i.
The E87 has the FBD receiver in the rear view mirror.
I need to connect Pin3 (FBD receiver actuation) of the Comfort Access module to FBD receiver in the rear view mirror.

Does anyone know which pin of the 10 pin rear mirror plug to connect Pin3 of the Comfort Access module?

I know that for the e92 the FBD receiver is located in the antenna diversity module located in the middle of the rear roof trim. CA Pin3 is connected to Pin1 of the 6 pin connector on the FBD receiver.

Any help would be appreciated.
