Which wire am I suppose to cut?

I am going to install Ambient lighting in my E90, I have all the parts already. I would like to connect the wire that has electricity only when the interior light up.

But I have no idea which wire to cut, because I dont understand his language and his fingers were covering the wires and the camera doesn't pick up the color. Someone Please help.

Great idea, keep us posted!

Maybe try a voltmeter to see which wires go live when the interior switches light up.

i thought I heard that violet is 12v and brown is ground but I am not certain.
