13 degrees, early Sunday morning, blue skies, quiet Yorkshire Moors and Coastal roads.

Z4M roadster, roof down, seat heating at 3, tyres and engine warm, Deep Purple on the stereo, sport button depressed, 343hp at the ready

Roads almost empty, birds singing, daffodils in full bloom, dew on the fields, mist in the dells, beautiful fresh country air with an occassional heady 'richness' where the muck spreaders have been.

I feel very lucky. Can motoring get much better than this?

Took a holiday last year including Skye and the West Coast. Can only concur....Scottish roads are amongst the finest on the planet and you don't even need to break the speed limit.
