steptronic on my xi is confused

Anyone else have problems with the steptronic shifting down for you too much...when Im driving and coming to a stop the car almost always shifts down from 3rd into 2nd for me earlier than it should and i land up shifting down as well at the same time taking me down to first gear from 3rd instantly...this is really annoying because if i dont notice i get the first gear jerk thinking im in 2nd still...thoughts?

Snickers, did you ever get this resolved? If so, what was the cause? fix?
