$15000 to fix engine per dealer (Options) PLS ADVISE

The guy fixing the car missed out on a 38,000 mile engine on Tuesday, sold for $6500. A 32,000 engine is in Michigan he is going to take a look at it tomorrow.

Got an engine $6000 for a 29000 mile engine. Even less miles than when I first got the car. Should be another week and half and it should be done with. The end is in sight, pics to follow when engine arrives I'll have to make a trip to the shop.

I called them 4 or 5 times job for a price quote and they never call back or email u quotes like they promised. I will never do business with them. This is not the first time I called about a quote.

really, i sent them an email about some downpipes on facebook, they replied 2 days later. anyways hope everything continues to go well.

Nope, carfax only reports what insurance companies report. I'm sure if im wrong i will be corrected.

That's how much it costs if you have BMW do it, typically an n54 engine can be had for around 6-7k.

Yeah I just got warranty work performed and replaced several components. Total came out to $7400. Thank god for the warranty!

Totally correct, iam getting a new motor for around 7,000-8000...nothing wrong with mine...just want a new before this one does go out.

Some folks get an extended warranty just in case, some folks just go ahead replace the motor just in case...what a diverse world we live in.

Just get a new corvette engine and shoehorn that baby in there. Problem solved. Can probably get it for about $0.45 and a pack of malboros.

i am getting a level 10 tranny and want a new motor o o with it...have replaced everything else. Getting a long block.
