(DIY) One little piece needed to enable our USA rear fog lights

I used a penny, an Ikea piece, and a broken pencil.....Done

just did this using a BIC pen cylinder (empty obviously) and an old credit card!
The pen cylinder is floating, and the credit card is cut into a small triangle and glued to the two points on the circuit board

ok, so does anyone have one? why put a crappy piece in there that can potentially rattle when the white piece can be had for relativly cheap, except for people that just want to rip people off. I am about to pull it apart I will probably fabricate something but I though I would ask if anyone had one.

Look, Im not trying to be a dick here. But after trying to find someone that has the piece, negotiate a price, wait for shipping...you could have done it in 10 mins fabricating it yourself. How is this part going to rattle either? You do realize that white plastic piece floats in position too, so if anything is going to rattle, its that.

there are about 75 different $65 parts......things add up, plus it's kind of fun to diy....I'm doing it right now on my gf's car.....

I just did this mod using the 'official' Euro switch. Hence I have a spare white spacer. I'm willing to give this to the first person to respond to me via e-mail. I'll tell you where to send a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (I think it will fit in a standard legal envelope) which I will use to send you back the spacer. Good Luck!

If so, did the adaptive braking lighting still work on the other light?
