New OEM aluminium front splitters (part no. only)
Sorry if this is old news, but I just got the new e90 accessory catalogue from my dealer this morning and there's (a tiny bit of) news on the new OEM front splitters. All they say is that they are 'under development', but will be in 'silver aluminium' Part nos. for the stock bumper are 51 19 0 413 427 (left) and 51 19 0 413 426 (right), and for the M Sport bumper 51 19 0 413 429 (left) and 51 19 0 413 428 (right).
Unfortunately, there are no photos or prices, but from the description, I am slightly disappointed: aluminium is going to look very 'aftermarket' on my black car, especially next to all the chrome around the grill. I am just hoping they will be cheaper than the CF versions, so I can paint them to match the car.

I went to my local BMW-parts shop. They have the numbers in their system now, but no price yet. I am waiting for them to check the price from Germany.
I hope they are cheaper than the CF version. |

You guys may want to consider the possibility of curbing the splitters. The passenger side CF splitter I have on my car was cracked by the valet at a local hotel; After having the dealer look at it, they mentioned the flexibilty of the CF reducing the damage to the rest of the bumper.

how can they be a part number without having a picture? That is like saying ...all right here is the new spoiler number, now what do you want to build?

yes, this is kind of ridiculous not to show us a picture. It's been a few months after I read about it in this thread. Still no one saw any picture about it.
I hope it is the same shape as the CF ones...only it is made out of Aluminium. |

I just checked availability and there's none in our warehouses. I did find the part numbers for the aluminum silver ones in our etk but only the ones for the m sport bumper.

Sorry but I can't check on the prices for the silver aluminum ones. The part number is in the etk but the part number won't work in my reynolds & reynolds or dcsnet.
I have no idea what they will look like because I only have the pictue or should I say diagram from the etk. I also don't know when or if they will be released here. I might buy a set for myself because I probably can get it from Japan. |

Realoem has updated its database, and the Aluminum splitters are on the list....
Take a look. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...29&hg=51&fg=95 I think it will look exactly like the CF front splitters |
