If it gets in on time, you could have your car by 27th, 28th. Maybe before since you are close to NEAT.

I'm on the same boat as you. Mine is being dropped off in Halifax on teh 21st of Feb but then will go by train all the way to the west coast ... so that adds at least 2 weeks from what I have been told.

So you'll have yours well before mine.

It's my first BMW too! So excited!

Yeah, due in Halifax 2/21 - Looks like being close to the port is a good thing on timing. Will be curious to see how long stateside prep takes.

Not sure this ordering thing is good as it gets your excitement level and expectations to all new levels......I am guessing I will have a tough time avoiding that redline approach during break in after waiting for the new wheels -

Good Luck, hoping the ship gets to port on time!

The TANCRED is now docked in Halifax and unloading! It'll set sail for NY later today (Feb 25th). My 325i is getting off in Halifax as we speak. Welcome to Canada, eh!

I had my screen capture program fired up to try and catch the Don Juan leaving Halifax this morning and I caught the Tancred arriving to port.

Here is a link to a picture of the Tancred:

Slowest damn boat ever to cross the Atlantic....Looks like it has finally ported in NY / NJ. Funny, my dealer called today to say he anticipates I can take delivery by this weekend......Hoping for no suprises

Well, if it's any consolation, one of our Don Juan shipmates just had his car unloaded today in NJ, and his CA called him, and said it would be at the dealership tomorrow (in PA). You're most likely closer than he is to the port, so you may very well be taking delivery this weekend!

UPDATE: His SA called him back, and admitted he'd made a mistake. He too will be taking delivery around Friday.

Fletch!

Looks like there's a huge difference in hp between Don Juan and Tancred, maybe that thing is turbo-charged ...

hope they didn't ship my baby back to Germany ...

When did the Tancred leave Bremerhaven? I think our ship (Don Juan) left 2/14/06.
