Wind Screen for e93 is worth it
Got a windscreen on ebay for about $370 which I thought was a ripoff even though the dealer wanted $500...
What a difference is makes though, even at low speeds. You don't get the whipping winds (which I like sometimes). The only downside is at night it kinda distorts the headlights of cars behind you and makes things grainy, so might be best bet not to use it at night... |

When I ordered my car I made the dealer throw it in for half price as part of the deal.
That thing stands up really well at highway speed. You can get use to the grainly vision pretty fast.

I love mine heh
I had a choice: $300 for a BOV, or a wind deflector I'm happy I got the wind deflector BUY IT if you have an e93 :P I would say I'd take it over the FMIC even lol

+1 here too. I have to say, the E93 stock does an amazing job at keeping wind buffeting to a minimum. However, if you have a significant other with long hair like I do, the deflector is a must-have for keeping things in the front quieter and calmer than a coupe with the windows open.

The difference is amazing, huh? I drove for a few months without one before someone suggested I try one out. I would never go without one again. For future buyers, you can also shop around on windscreenreview.net and look for dealers there if you really want to explore your options. That's what I did, at least.

It's surprizing and nice to see everybody's windows rolled down in their shots. Here in NJ every E93 (and CLK) that I see with the top down has it's windows up! I always wonder why they didn't just buy a car with a big sunroof if they're that afraid of the wind.
Wind screens do a good job and you don't look like a big dork with all the windows up!

Kinda messes up the lines of the car though, huh? No, I dont have an E93, but I had an S2000 and have had my share of wind wipping.

I got one a few weeks ago - it's trivial to install and remove. Like a minute, tops. Actually, one other nice thing I like about it is that it can flip backwards and fold down with a light push - so we could use it on the highway when it really mattered, then flip it down when we got into the city and were going at slow speeds. That way the overall look of the car was sweeter when people were actually looking...

sounds like it does what it's supposed to do.. but it looks like it does prevent the usage of the 2 rear seats..

It folds down easily and the top will go up whether the screen is in up or down position. During the Summer I leave it in place unless I have rear seat passengers (which is not offen), CA
