Interior LED lighting

Does anyone know the proper bulb replacement for the dome lights in an 06 e90?
Ive already tried canbus LED 2886x bulbs and they do not fit. They are too long to fit into the dome socket, any other suggestions?

It should fit, have you tried inserting it via taking off the plastic cover and not taking off the hole housing

You may find interest in these. They are very clean looking and designed for 3 series specifically.

Or

You could build your own from this kit as its one of the best available:

Be careful with those LED strips, they like to melt things. Not all of them but the cheapo ones do.

Normally, I would agree but sometimes people mess around in the interior of their car for up to 45 minutes. Working on stuff or working on other things

I noticed you like the blue led? We have a full kit in blue that may interest you. We also have red and amber.

Just throwing that out there:

If you need map lights checkout www.highperformancebulbs.com

Go to their BMW interior kits and go to custom build your own kit.

Select Map lights and checkout.
