Yes. They're made to fit the car. I also have a set right here in front of me.

I know they're made to fit the front .... it's the rear of the e93 convertible that I'm concerned about

yes, the mount for the rear of the e93 is the same as the front door. as with the front tweeter, you'll have to figure out a way to mount that in the rear. easiest way that's secure is hot glue.
