When's the next Track Event in the tri-state area?
I was on vacation the past couple weeks and missed a couple auto'x in Long Island Does anyone know when the next track event is (doesn't have to be autocross) in the tri-state area? I bought a set of track wheels/tires that i haven't been able to test out yet...

if you want a serious track event
go to nasaproracing.com --> event registration --> north east and Pocono Raceway on July 16-18 I believe, around there. Its going to be an amazing weekend, I will be racing Friday + Sat. You should sign up as HPDE1 as this will probably be your first track event, + you get your own instructor + class time. Highly recommended, see you there hopefully |

hey guys
i run w/schattenbaum pca at most of their events June 17-18 is their next event, Thursday at NJMP Lightning / Friday @ NJMP THunderbolt July 22 - 23 is their event in July, both days at NJMP Thunderbolt They run a good clean event. You don't have to be a PCA member to join, which is nice. THe price is around $330 for 2 days. http://www.motorsportreg.com

well NJMP is a real track. you get 4 20 minute sessions - and average about 100 miles driving a day. ... an Auto-x is a parking lot set up with cones to emulate a track and you get about 8 minutes of seat time.
here is an aerial of NJMP Thunderbolt

And $330 for 2 HPDE days is a good price. Just came back from Monticello, $400+ for a 2-day event and Limerock later this month is $320 for a 1-day event. |
