Love the way it looks with the interior. My interior is the same color and I wasn't sure what would look best...found my answer now.

I know this is an older post, but just wanted to say it looks great! Crazy how something like that can transform the look of the car.

in this pic it looks like it has an orange peel effect to it. Is it like that in real life?It looks good but i cant help but think of base e46's that came with this black trim. It doesnt exactly exude sports luxury.

Migh tlook cool w/ a sheer vinyl to kinda show off the wood interior underneath it. Almost like tinting the wood trim

From certain angles you do see the orange peel effect. I have mine wrapped currently, but I am probably going to peel it and paint them.

Can you send me link for that vinyl? With required dimensions please.
And how you did center console? Did you take off the buttons and all that stuff?

Looks nice, I think wrapping the radio trim would tie it up .Turns out we have the same working buddy Mr Artois. Either way good job and cheers to that

My mate did this in carbon. He has Lemon leather. Looks the nuts. He's a novice with cars but just went for it with a 15 sq ft sheet of carbon vinyl he bought for £11. It looks the nuts

M-Style charge £800 to do this!!!

I have the same interior with wood trim and did mine matte black instead gloss. I'm debating if i should do more since there's too much beige still going on.

I wound up dying my floor mats black. Made a big difference, in my opinion.

The problem with the beige and gray is that the whole interior is so monotone.

Maybe break it up by dying some of the door pieces?

Like how Coral Red, Saddle Brown and Oyster interiors are 2-toned with black pieces.

Yupp. I'm planning to wrap more parts on the door. It really is too much beige and kinda boring

Sorry for heating this up, but how is that glossy black maintenance-wise ? Dust, fingerprints, stains etc. ? How hard is it to keep it clean ?

It's been a couple years or so now, but it's held up well. There's light miscellaneous scratching here and there and it definitely shows dust and fingerprints, but it's nothing a microfiber cloth wipedown can't handle.

Been meaning to ask this question for a while as its something that has interested me, but...

Has anyone ever wrapped the center stack area containing the AC/DVD slots in a gloss black or clear gloss wrap? All new BMW's have this look and just wondering what it would look like on an E9X...
