RiXeffe3cts Digital Vent Gauge on CF fabric trim
I decided to install this RiXeffect Digital Vent Gauge. Took my trim out. Look at the trim and think I can do better CF wrap. Peel off the old fabric, clean out all the adhesive and re-wrapped it. The gauge is very easy to install, took about 10 mins to get it install on the trim, quality of the gauge is veyr very good. Look at the result new wrap with the Vent Gauge!!
Here is how it look like after the old fabric peel off after 2 mins of rubbing with alcohol After 10 mins of rubbing with alcohol. So for those who affraid of doing this becasue of lease car, it is reversable!! Gauge installed on the new wrapped trim Installed with headlight OFF Installed with headlight ON short clip of reving up V3 Map 1 V3 Map 2 Last edited by Soni; 10-26-2008 at 09:50 PM.. |

Good to know that the trim can easily be removed.

Didn't know the wrap was able to be reversed so easily. Where to buy it?

It will work on yours since you got 335i....but it will only show you the stock boost and no map switching or other function cuz you don't have piggyback tune!!

Its required some force to peel off and the fabric can not be re-use!!! its a "cheap" mod and its reversable. when you get sick of it after 2-3 years, just return back to stock or do something different without thinking it twice, the cost it cheap enough to rip them off and not thinking how much did you paid for that

what I can do is send you a small piece of fabric enough to cover one of you rear side trim. If you think its too hard to do it yourself, PM Nick@Jlevi SW, he can do the professional wrapping service for you. PM me your address and I will get it send out to you.
