Hi guys

Immediately after I start the car, the cluster briefly displays the remaining miles and date of next scheduled service. It reads 10000 mls and 06/2009. Does this mean I still have 10k miles remaining before I need to go for the next service? What the 06/2009 mean then?

It does mean you have roughly 10k more miles before next scheduled service. However, BMW also does one service per year, regardless of miles. How many miles are on the car and how long has it been since your last service? Judging by that date, it seems you're due for service this month anyway.

10K or 06/2009...which ever comes first. the computer is basing it on your driving style and it's estimating it for that date.
