And a bespoke service from BMW to customise, if you want anything personal done to it!!!!!
And then a collection from Munich!!! I think it'll be nearer or over £100k, it was the first one made, and good ones are still up for sale for just south of £40k!!!!- Someone with just stick it in their collection......

Why was the first one RHD ?! Maybe first RHD one. It looks utterly fabulous. Shame it won't get used in anger.

Would it become a brand new registration (ie: a '10 plate?) - that would confuse the local dealer lol! "I want to book in my new CSL for some warranty work....!!"
Sounds to me as though those miles have just been clocked up knocking around BMW over the years, prob getting moved around etc. Just 0.5 ish mile a week would account for it's mileage. |

No it wouldnt. Because the car is still 7 years old.
Only cars built with a brand new shell and brand new parts (old stock etc) can be registered Brand new (10 plate). But then it would be classified as a replica (Not in logbook terms as its a real BMW CSL but not built in the factory by bmw). As VIN won't tie in with other CSL's etc and the fact not built on production line. Car clubs would not accept it as an original also.

But surely it is a brand new shell and new parts - it was built ages ago. It would only be a kit if it had been re-created and even now as long as a kit car is built from new components, it gets a new reg plate

Er, yes actually thinking about it. It probably will. I was thinking more of people jumping on a similar band wagon and using new CSL shells and creating them.

There was an absolute beauty for sale in the showroom in Eastern BMW on Monday. I think it was up for sale at c.£27k.
I had to prise myself away from the showroom!! http://www.easternbmw.co.uk/usedbmw/...BL96030JC98092

Do you think they'll accept my request for an extended test drive. It'd double the mileage and knock about 20k off the price
Stunning motor. Think I'd probably buy that one from Eastern, build a garage to put it in, and still have cash for a holiday

? Don't see the relevance of this second hand one to the new one on the OP's thread?
