This is perfect! It is exactly what I wanted. No trimming! Uses factory piping! It looks pretty much OEM and all this at a great price without sacrificing the quality!!
Thanks for the review! I was going crazy trying to figure out which intercooler to buy and it was consuming my free time so much! Now I will focus on more important things in life! |

Exactly. I did the same thing and finally was like screw it I'm gonna just buy it and see how it goes. Worked out well!

FYI - A cool trick to put the FMIC in yourself without straining is to get a peice of wood and lift it up with your jack. Make sure the wood is close to the length of the FMIC for leaning. Works like a charm.

Is there any option for this to come in a polished finish?
Also, when the fins get pelted with rocks, I'm wondering if that nice black finish will start to look spotty. |

I didn't see an option on the website for a polished finish. I kinda like how stealthy it is, though!

My response-
Subject: BMW 135 FMIC Hello leroi, Right now we only have a limited quantity on coolers in stock and due the bad euro exchange rate and expensive shipping cost from Germany, there is no room for a group buy at this time. We are starting to produce the cooler in our California shop in arround 6-8 weeks, this will save some cost and we could think about a group buy... I hope this sound ok to you. Thanks. Sincerely, Wagner Tuning Inc. |
