Creaking noise.

Hey everyone!

I just purchased my 08 335xi last week (Manual Transmission) and I noticed a few things that are worrying me a bit.

When I park the car and get out I hear a creaking noise from the rear wheels/brakes as I get out or into the car. Is this normal?

Also, It takes a few tries before getting it into the reverse gear (manual.) Is that normal?

Also, I'm hearing a small clicking noise when shifting into second gear?

Please help me out guys, I'm clueless! :/

Take it to a shop and have the tranny checked out. Did you buy this from a dealer?

Creaking noise from rear, are you parking on a hill? Could be the parking brake.

Mechanical noise shift in 2nd and sticky reverse gear sounds like the cogs are not ligning up, you can raise the clutch pedal to move the cogs while shifting into reverse, that should move them a bit and allow you to engage reverse.

I read another thread where the guy had to pump the clutch to get into first.

Let us know what the techs say/do.
