Is the rtti feature available on the E90?

I have a connected drive account which allows access to news, weather, email, etc but I can't seem to find rtti anywhere.

How do I activate it?

No mate just got the car 2 weeks ago and i was driving and it popped up that a road was closed and diversion was in place

I was quite suprised actually

Isn't that tmc?

My car has got tmc but rtti is supposed to be much better?

TMC = Traffic Message Channel which is the old system used on CIC Nav and which I've never found very reliable
RTTI is the new, improved system available on NBT Nav by subscription, I don't think it was ever available on pre NBT Nav.

Sounds good. What is the spec of your car, is rtti part of the connected drive subscription?

I had a late 2010 LCi with Pro Nav & that had TMC do I'm guessing RTTI was introduced either late 2010 or in 2011

RTTI was 2011. Prior to that you get TMC.

Late 2010 AFAIK. But you have to pay for connected drive services to have it.
