Are spacers bad?
To fit winter wheels, it looks like I'll need 20" spacers? Is there drawbacks of using spacers?

I'm assuming you need them for brake clearance on a 335i. In that case a 20 millimeter (not 20"), hubcentric spacer with the correct longer bolts wouldn't be a large concern for winter wheels.

No difference... just make sure you torque the bolts to the correct specs, etc. I've used 15mm spacers without issues, and I would recommend rogue engineering for the brand.
