2am is nothing, i've worked till 6am before and went back to work at 8:30. it's not uncommon especially when the client is preparing to file with the sec soon...but most of the time i would say average is between 45-55 hours a week, extremely busy weeks can range from 70-95 hours a week. i know it sucks and all but no one in the big four is trying to make a career there, i guarantee over 85% of the people in the big four are using the firm as a stepping stone into going private cuz the big four experience with auditing fortune 500 companies on your resume is what gives an edge over other experienced hires

yea....if ur planning to go private in accounting....make sure u have big 4 experience lol. there are too many people out there that doesnt know what the f*k they're doing

but partnership (if you make it there) is very rewarding too...

what do you mean? i hold a bachelors in accounting and i have my public experience already... i just need to pass just because i didnt work for the big 4 doesnt mean my public experience wont count.
