Hmm undecided about the bonnet, might be a bit too much M3 wannabe happening (luckily I didn't install the m3 rims )
lol i was thinking of the cf vented hood to let some hot air out and for the same reason i though i'd get a different front bar. dont know if I like this one or not http://www.schmiedmann.com/3063500KE...uctnumber.aspx

Hmm don't love it, but I don't quite hate it either.

Well in your case I guess its more a case of function over aesthetics, but I wonder what this would translate to in actual temp drops?

Just curious, do you know if M3 bonnet fits?

no unfortunately it doesn't, unless you also use m3 guards and a front bar.

Well today on the Putty Rd run I got to give the bmr a good flogging (from the halfway cafe heading north to Broke-you Sydney guys only got to experience the entree, the main dish was served up heading north with lots of isolated mountain twisties and loooooong straights

When I got home the mailman had been to drop off a few parcles from Germany:

MMMMMM M3 mirrors with bmw performance caps:

After an epic journey, finally the LCI tails are here!!! You guys who purchased through me should have yours by Monday if not already

I have the car booked in with Pete to have the ams fmic & AR DP's to be fitted this Thursday, just in time for xmas!

On another note the lovely missus bought me an overpriced keyring which also arrived today:

It is indeed a nice piece of kit in a lovely box, but since I'm a fussy bastard I couldnt find anything else I liked.

Oh and a BMS OCC to keep the intake 'clean'

Just be careful. I read the dct book a little while ago (posted here somewhere) and the rad connection is a heater NOT a cooler. The m3 has a separate air to oil cooler and I suspect that is the line you want to use not the rad lines

100% pav the DCT has no converter just a wet clutch pack, unlike the steptronic.

I installed the tailights and everyone was a breeze!

Looks much neater, imo the LCI tails don't look as good on the space grey in comparison to the white (Gerry's M3 looked heaps better once he had LCI tails)

Old tails on the left, LCI tails on the right:

All installed:

I shall hopefully get to the M3 mirrors in the next few days

Looking good Shane, so many nice touches. Nice work on the LCI tailights and M3 mirrors. I'm sure the look of the LCI tails up against the Space Grey metallic will grow on you.

I love the individualism of your 335i

Nice work Shane....Considering all I have done to mine is a new battery, Its great to see the changes with the mods to your beast. Too think I'm excited about installing AE's from BMR when they arrive is quite pale in comparison to TKO 335....!!!

Thats one of the reasons why I didnt buy your car, as mine was cheaper and I could use that $ for mods!

I actually dont really like the rear m sport bumper

I fitted up the M3 mirrors tonight, took my time slowly pulling the trim panels away from the doors trying not to break anything, after an hour or so I had them mounted up, and they don't look too bad

I'm probably not going to be there, just dropping the car off for the day or pick it up a few days later as Pete said he will need the car for a whole day

I thought you would have had them, perhaps they arrive in Sydney en route from Germany hence why I received mine a few days sooner?

Yeah dude a heap of errors on idrive and the indicators flash too quickly, so I need to get that sorted asap as its damn annoying!
