335i + Dunlop Wintersports

So I've been in the US for all of winter, but this past week I've driven in CANADIAN snow for the first time with my dunlop wintersports and I must say I am very impressed.

The car feels planted and under control and I don't have any problems accelerating from a dead stop whatsoever. I've tried messing around a bit with quicker turns and a bit more aggressive throttle and some quick braking to see what the limits of the tires are and I am pretty impressed overall. Don't regret not going with an xi at all, the car is more then sufficient for my driving needs and at no point did I feel unsafe even in some nasty conditions.

Just thought I'd share.

Good choice on the rubber, glad you're happy with your purchase.

I have the SP Winter Sport M3 ROF on my car and I agree with you, the traction is excellent. Even drove up to blue in a snow storm. The winter are sure getting use this year

I'm on my 5th winter with them and they're still amazing.

Well technically they are, summers loose grip below 7C. So even tho you may not drive in snow. You still need 'cold weather' tires for the winter months.

LOL... I'm 99.9% sure this was something some marketing genius came up with to sell more winter tire packages in markets that don't see much snow, but where owners would otherwise run summer tires in <10 C conditions.

Vancouver, Seattle would be good examples I guess.

Seems correct, where I was for most of winter I drove with snow on the ground ONCE all winter, but still had my Dunlops on for the cold weather purposes.

Wintersports 3D have been outstanding for me as well. Love them much more than the blizzaks. It's weird because I thought the blizzaks would have performed better for RWD, but I found the Dunlops better suited for this particular car.
