Here it is... another hit from Capcom! Gotta get this!! I liked all RE games but 4 wasn't as scary as 1,2,and 3, hopefully 5 will bring back the scaryness!

I was kinda looking forward to it but after RE4, I think I'm just going to buy it used so if I don't like it, I will just return it. God of War 3 on the other hand, I'm definitely going to reserve that copy.

RE4 did deviate from the horror aspects of the original Resident Evil and took on more of an action suspense form. Regardless it was one of my favorite games so I'll definitely be looking forward to RE5.

Anyone play the demo and actually beat the chainsaw guy? I kept getting decapitated.

Idk, I didnt really feel RE4, 1-3, and even the 0 for the GC was better in my opinion, scary wise I mean. Plus nothing beats the first, even if they did have squares for hands lol

they say it takes approximately 12-15 hours to beat. No multiplayer. And ofcourse it is best played with a friend.

im playing it right now..its not really scary...more suspense....once you get used to the controls...its pretty fun

I played RE4 on Wii. It was fun because aiming was a snap. Playing RE5 on PS3 is frustrating the bananas out of me.

Just got this today .. played for almost 3 hours straight tonight, haha. Overall a pretty good game. Like others said, more suspense then anything. Nothing like a clean headshot!

It's taking me longer to finish this game than it should because I'm playing with my friend over the internet. He doesn't aim well, and wastes ammo. He doesn't understand the whole, shoot them in the arm/leg/head and then melee hit them.

He always runs away from me, and then ends up in "dying" status and then I can't get to him in time because he ran so far away.

In any case, he is the homie and online play is awesome. If you liked RE4, and when you were running around with Ashley wished it was 2 player: this game is an awesome answer to your prayers. However, I still must say that aiming on the Wiimote made aiming much easier than thumbsticks, therefore, moving from RE4 on Wii to RE5 on PS3 is a tad frustrating.
