whoops, no I think you're right... its actually not a DCT, just a six speed steptronic with sport function.

they're using the same shifter for it from what it looks like though.

BMW did not add enough glitter on this outgoing model to entice me, not at 50k base. The iS would have been attractive alternative at the introduction of E92 but now there's plenty in second hand market and the new iS doesn't have significant product differentiation than old E92. The only key difference is DCT, for those who wants automatic.

The decision comes down to buying a 2 years old M3, C63, ISF, Porsche or a new E92 with facelift. Personally, I am happier in a more capable car than a new refresh of the old.

not fair... they should totally do this for e90s too!

Anyway, this is awesome... wonderful by BMW, pricey yes... but its wonderful. Now definitely better than an s4 or all other pre-lci e92 335i competitors.

I wanna know the specs on how it compares with e92 m3 and pre-lci e92 335i ( i know the lci is faster but by how much)

What is this overboost function?? what is that?? is that like an M BUTTON???

It simply increased torque to 370 for seven (some sources say 10) seconds by increasing boost.

Same here. Even though wow that is pretty nice for a 3 series non-M, much better than the previous e46 ZHP but still, at that price I'd rather get a 1-2 year old M3.

In 1-2 years, this may be a nice car to pick up

I didn't like the LCI pics for E92, but the extra touches on the iS make it look better. Still waiting to see one in person. Auto shows are coming!
