Engine oil housing Gasket

I guess I need to change the Engine oil housing gasket.
Is it easy to do DIY?
Or if I do it at shop, how much do i expect?

Thanks

It depends on your level of experience.
What have you done on your car so far yourself?

Those screws are one-time use (or at least they were on my 06 325i), and have a specific torque spec, so that adds to the costs and complexity. There's like 20 of them. I believe you're looking at around $400, but could be higher or lower depending on who you take it to.

Leslie Du at Paradigm Performance did a great job for me. Can't remember cost unfortunately.

If you have average skills wrenching and the time and place to do the work it's an easy diy. It can be a messy job.

Yeah pretty basic straight forward diy. There is a diy floating around try doing a search. Stealership over here wanted $1000. Rip off in my opinion since is not that much of a job.

I recently repaired my oil housing gasket at Paradigm Performance. Leslie and his team are great to deal with and knowledgable.

It cost me $350 (tax excluded) for the entire job; replacing the gasket, bmw coolant (flush), oil, oil filter and labour.

Are we talking about the oil pan gasket or oil filter gasket? If it's the oil pan, that's extremely good pricing considering what is required. If it's oil filter, reasonable but perhaps a bit expensive for something you can do on your own if you have time.
