Question First Service and Rear Tyres

So as I'm rolling up to 21K miles (not bad for 8 months!) the 320d is booked in for it's first service a week Saturday. I'm assuming this is a basic oil & filter change and the local BMW stealer said that the cost would be "about £150 sir" - does that sound on a par with others experiences?

My rear tyres (Bridgestone 245 RE050 runflats on 17" M Sports) are getting pretty low, probably only just over 1 mm above the Wear Indicator Strip, despite the experience of others on here I'm not that bothered by the runflats rather unforgiving ride and will keep them, mainly for the sheer convenience if you get a puncture. Again any suggestions on how much I'll be having to shell out for a pair of rears? (fronts have loads of miles left in them, just have the normal feathered outside edges).

Thanks for any advice!

I paid £170 for my first service, so that sounds pretty good.

If you ever get down to the West Midlands give Chapel Tyres a ring about your tyres. I don't think you will beat their prices.

Ring around your local stealers as the pricing can vary. From previous cars I found the smaller ones away from big cities tended to be cheaper. Just have a day out with partner and get car serviced and save money (just make sure your partner doesn't spend your savings though! )

My tyres were done under fleet - but Kwik Fit charged £470 ish for set of 18" rears. Try Costco if you have one near www.costco.co.uk they only do Michelins but have a good offer on at the moment I think its £20 off per tyre or something like that.
