Wooh that's one angry looking car! Still, as nice as I think this looks, it's a reminder as to how limited Audi's diversity is in their front end styling department. It's the same thing everytime, except the proportions are just slightly varied. Each car has:

-Squarish headlights that simply vary in length (LED DRLs are adding some individuality now though)
-Two lower brake ducts that increase in size with a little flare on the edges for the S models
-A single frame grille that is practically unchanged in overall shape, save for the amount of slats in the grille, of course S/RS-Line models have chrome/silver inserts
-A little lip at the bottom of the grille that flares out into the form of a splitter beneath each brake duct with another small grille that's placed at the very bottom, the slat placement for the lower grille is usually just one slat for every other slat that's on the main grille
-Hood lines are also relatively similar across the range too, very little variance in the amount of hood lines/creases or the way they're formed

The formula is repeated every time. It's a little too similar if you ask me.

Think of it this way, BMW has their kidney grilles and Audi has their massive grilles.

it all works out.

yep, but BMW makes the kidney grilles different for all their models. Their headlights are also unqiue to each model. For Audi it's not the case, and it's sad because I love Audi styling. They just need to make the Headlights/rearlights and grilles more unique to each model. Also, I think the HUGE grille limits Audi to what they can do with the front end!

and thanks BimmerLoyalist for saying what I was thinking!

haha the headlights and rear lights are different for each model. The only thing that is the same is the LED strip and that can be said for the angel eyes too.

The grille does limit front end styling but then again, it is one of the more larger signature marks that audi has.

Either way, both car companies are sexy.

Hardly imo. Some might be more rakish than others, but the only truly individual looking headlights are on the A4/TT.

The A3/A5/A6/A8 all have squarish headlights with a slight curve at the top.

The 1/3/5/6/7/Z4/X3/X5 all have unique headlights. Even the 3 has two distinct types.

Without a doubt.

I agree that the huge grille limits what Audi can do with the front, in my mind the cars which look the best with it are the R8 and the TT and in both cases their grille is at it's smallest.

I also think the RS6 looks to ordinary at the front, Audi slipped up with this car's frontal looks. Though there is nothing wrong with it's performance.
