I tried Map 5 yesterday. I felt map 2 has more consistent driving charateristics as map 5 sometimes boost more sometimes less. Maybe I'm wrong but anyone felt the same as I did?

Yep - did exactly the same yesterday and felt the same. With a completely stock car I'm a bit nervous using map 5 without a better FMIC.

again i am no expert but iirc you need to do a few 3rd gear pulls for the auto tune to do its thing, so find yourself a good bit of road and watch out for coppers

I just had the AR installed last week and loving the extra pull. Haven't really driven it enough for Procede autotune to do it's work. But definitely a difference! Having said that, I'm yet to get use to the funky smell coming from the engine bay!

Got it done at German Auto. The cost for install and testing was about $700.00 with new gaskets as it took them about 4 hours to do it as there was quite a bit of undercarriage to remove to get to the cats. And they also updated my map.

Would be interesting to see what improvement it has on the dyno.

Ah ok, thanks for the info. I remember your car was stock with JB4 at the last dyno day? Should make a huge improvement

The smell isn't that bad for n54?

The first few days after install it smelt pretty bad (like something died in there) after I parked it in the garage. After a week it's less obvious or perhaps I'm just getting used to it?

maybe you are sensitive like me, but if you got a chance to drive N55 with catless downpipe. you will be so glad your current setup.
