C'mon guys! I can vouche for ta2002u2. He is a standup guy. I will definitely buy the hood from him.

On the other hand, I have the full e90 M-Kit available, that I'm willing to let go for $500. I also sold my car before I could install it.

Please make me a fair offer, if you don't think it's worth $500. If you want pics .

Funny how something as simple as trying to sell a hood on two forums has turned into territorial pissings, poor CSI detective work, and fulfilling every negative BMW stereotype that's known. Awesome work! Guess that's a reason I've always enjoyed owning the cars more than interacting with owners like you. Scott, not sure if you know this, but it is possible to own a BMW, enjoy that ownership without ever leaning towards being a 'tard. (Seriously, it's possible. I've managed to accomplish this, as have many others!)
Dood. you're making this harder for yourself than anything anyone here is going to say. If you really wanted to sell your CF hood; you'd take a photo of it on your car, or in your garage, or any actual proof-of-existence photo of your choosing; not some promo pic from a website. Post it up, give a location, an approximate shipping cost and how someone might contact you outside of the forum.

Generally speaking people here are good natured, friendly and will give you the benefit of the doubt if you're honest and straight forward. Being shifty with your location, your responses to genuine inquiries; and the absence of a tangible good for sale- doesn't make it easy for someone to trust you.

No, the funniest was the awesome/insane/stupid exhaust mod thread last year. Oh, how I wish it wasn't shut down....

Does anyone still have some of the pics from that thread? I'd love to see the photochopped Pontiac/M5 again. That was priceless.

Yep, I'm a 144 (er...145 post) "veteran" now, after being a member for a few months. I've also met a few of the other members here in person. But what you don't see from me is post #1 selling something for $1,500. And if I were selling something (which I've done a lot on the internet) I would most surely list my location, shipping and payment terms. I can also point to other web forums where I have feedback from selling things. Can you? All you've got is attitude. Oh, and another "1 Post wonder" who'll vouch for you!

I feel no self importance, just trying to help the membership here avoid a potential scam. I may be new here, but I'm not new to online forums. I've seen plenty of guys get taken to the cleaners....

I'm not sure where you came up with all this garbage, but it appears it took some time to write it. Especially considering that last night your entire post read "Thanks Scott, you're very funny." You then went back and edited it to add a lot of content. You seem to be spending a lot of time in this ad, except to make it very simple for someone to actually want to do business with you. I guess you'd rather respond to 50 PMs with "where are you located? Will you ship?" instead of just coming out front in your first post and providing that information.

Quote:
As for my 2002 ownership, I'm guessing that a diehard BMW fan like yourself wouldn't know what TA2002US refers to, no? I'm sure plenty do; it's not a secret. It's not even that clever. Just an appreciation of the era of BMW's I grew up admiring and ultimately owned. There were models before the E36, Scott.
I wasn't questioning your 2002 ownership, I'm just wondering why your meager profile lists "E90" here, which by your own admission you don't have anymore, and why it says "2002" over there. That is especially interesting as you registered here AFTER registering there.

Quote:
You're clearly over your head, trying to 'put the smackdown' on someone that doesn't like pissy and uncessesary attitudes, but in reality, you work harder to look like a champ on a small specialist formum like this one than to actually try and dedicate your time to something that doesn't involve inflating your longing to be the star of the thread.
Oooh, that one hurt!

Quote:
I'm trying to picture you, and all I can see are images of Dwight K.Schrute.

Cheerily looking forward to your reply,

"Mr. 3 Posts"
That's pretty funny! I wasn't sure who Dwight was, so I had to look him up on Google. I don't watch "The Office", so the whole reference is lost on me.

This could go on for days! Which I guess will keep your ad at the top of the heap! Well, until a moderator comes in here and whacks us for stomping on your "for sale" post!

I think the OP and his "friend" finally figured out that they can't scam BMW owners and probably will not return to this forum, ever!

Will this fit a 335XI? Does this have to be painted to match my car? Do you accept cash? If you give your name, address and phone number I am interested

Please PM me with your location I am interested and will come and get it with cash. I can understand if you dont want to post here after all the negative comments. I may also want the M-Tec kit. Please PM me your location so we can meet up and discuss buying price. I trust you as you have shown no reason for me not to. Thanks for the PM and I would be very happy to buy this from you. Good day

That's great. I've had the hood for some time and now no longer need it. If selling it was as dire and timely as you think it is, I'd be pushing hard to move it a lot harder than I have. If I don't sell it here, or don't sell it for another year, it doesn't really make a difference. Sorry if that bursts your bubble. As for pics, locations, and other stuff. I'll gladly post a pic once I get to storage. Becuase of your awesome sleuthing skills, though, I'll try to get the image hosted by a dubious site so you can follow the URL and debunk its origins. Wouldn't want to deprive you of the fun, Magnum P.I.

As for endearing myself here, uhhh, I'm still looking for reasons. As for being lovingly embraced, I guess I don't look to online forums for such things--the comfort of a loving spouse and kids tend to fulfill me there, Agent 99. I'd suggest attracting a spouse of your own to dedicate your time to.

Frankly, it's not a major concern--for all the 'tude and such, or whatever hall monitor/crossing guard gene you possess to 'protect' the forum members, I've had more fun watching the inanity grow over all of this. If no one's ever told you, you give good inanity.

As for being scared away, 'caught' for trying to scam people (how did someone know I'm from Nigeria, BTW? Good guess!), or whatever other silly ponderings might come up, the idiotic responses that are flowing in make this too fun of a thread to kill. I'm a lurker on my own post! How funny.

Keep it coming!
