OMG, that portguese bakery is amazing! I always make a point to leave room for their fried dough when I'm down there. We're getting married in a couple of months and still trying to figure out where. P-town on a dune tour is one of the top options.

Probably one of the best weekends I've ever had.. I am more relaxed and refresed right now than I've been in many many months... That was really what I needed...

By the way, the flyover they added at the Sagamore Bridge makes a huge difference to traffic on the Cape. My dad lives in Harwichport, and we used to never want to go down on a weekend due to traffic. It's a very different story now.

Thanks Massachusetts taxpayers!

I had to live with the construction for 2 years for the flyover. Now I have a stop light to get out of my neighborhood.I used to go through rear tires very fast pulling out before.(so many speeding cars) Much better now.

Bourne bridge for me but i heard that sagamore is much improved which is amazing given that the people in charge of Massachusetts could fuck up a free lunch.

At least it gets the people off the Cape quickly, like when they need to evacuate because it's sinking. Route 3 is another story. It really needs to be 3 lanes all the way to Weymouth.

Rt. 3 has a whole different breed of drivers than the expressway, I've found.

Both breeds are douchebags in their own special ways.

I followed the advice on the forum. Sunday morning, went for a swim, the went back to the room and checked out of the hotel. Grabbed some sandwiches and cold iced tea, and spent the day on the beach. At about 6, 7, went to the indoor pool and jacuzzi for a while. Finally decided we were hungry. Took a real good shower in the locker rooms, put on a fresh set of clothes. Grabbed a bite to eat. I think we got on the road about 9. Minus a small slowdown for a fender bender, I averaged ~85 mph the whole trip home.

It worked real well, it was like having a whole other day of vacation. And we didn't have to sit in traffic on the way home, so I stayed refreshed and relaxed (until Monday when I got to work )..
