Cheers Shaun.

I'm only in Blackpool so that sounds like an idea.

I'll try and find out what the garage is.

Edit: is it going to be Deepdale Service Station on Sir Tom Finney Way?

That's the garage that I had the vacuum pipes replaced at. Took me 4 weeks to get in with them.

They are the ones who have advised the exhaust pressure sensor is the likely culprit.

Motorsport Developments have had an excellent reputation for years. They started out on the Cosworth scene before moving onto other makes. Very helpful guys.

You're quite right. I think Stuart who's one of the owners still writes an article in each issue of Fast Ford magazine (or similar)

I have bought a new exhaust pressure sensor based on their advice and plan on fitting it this evening. Hopefully won't be too difficult.

Could do with someone who really knows their stuff looking at it.
Ive taken my car to Peter van der veer for a few things on my car, knows his stuff. I've only had retrofit stuff done nothing mechanical but he's always happy to give advise.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Unfortunately Huddersfield is a bit of a trek from where I am though.

So I managed to put a replacement pipe and exhaust pressure sensor on the car last night. Turns out the DPF takes a while to cool down so managed to burn myself in the process.

Anyway took it for an hours run down the motorway late last night and where the light used to come on after about ten minutes of driving it didn't.

So *touching wood* a replacement pressure sensor has resolved the issue I hope.
