Did something very crazy

So I was checking meth flow and I disconnected the elbow that my nozzle is tapped into along with uninstalling the entire meth kit in order to check for kinks or failed parts.

In the midst of all of this I start the car so that the meth pump does not drain the battery while I test meth. However I forgot that I didn't reinstall the elbow about 30 seconds into it. During that time the car started to shake violently.

So now the car misfires all over the place at idle, wot , vacuum. It has gotten so bad that the car started to misfire on me on the highway shaking violently flashing ses and all.

I just had the injectors and plugs replaced.

I know it's not bad injectors because their are No cold start misses.

My question is, could the throttle body not getting any air cause the plugs to go bad?

Was your car having problems that necessitated taking things apart?

+1 i agree. But i was seeing 120F temps @ 125mph in 40F weather and a couple got me paranoid until i put 2 and 2 together and figured out that it is normal for a stock FMIC and 15psi.

So now i have a juicy lil problem on my hands. Lol plus my car is buried in 5 feet snow.

Try to clear adaptations and see if that helps.

Jesus. You shouldn't be driving 125mph! That's your fix.

just waiting till weather clears up before i go to AKMW to do just that. But i dont want to go their and find out its the plugs and then i have to wait till they come in.

The thing is i dont know if the ECU just went retarded ( adaptations) or the plugs are spent. So i just dont know if the throttle body not getting any forced air at idle would cause the plugs to go bad.

You mean no boost at idle? There is almost no boost at idle. Thats basically running the car in NA mode, which is not bad for the plugs.

Reset adaptations, report back.

No iam not looking for boost on idle and i dont know who would. But their is forced air running from the FMIC>chargepipe> Throttle body.
