Okay, here's the deal: My forward passenger-side window has a spot about 4 inches in diameter where it's pretty cloudy. You can only see it at a certain angle, but it's definetly there. I used Sprayway Glass Cleaner and it appeared as though it was gone, but it only masked it as it came back after I drove through the rain. Any ideas on how to get rid of it. You can also feel it if you run your fingers over it so it's sort of a scuff too. I know it can be removed because I had the same kind of thing on my navigation screen, but I used Meguire's PlastiX for that and my window isn't exactly plastic. I wish there was a Meguire's GlassX. What would you guys suggest?

since its on the window you could try a razor blade.

i know zaino has a product out, its more or less an abrasive for glass, i havent tried it yet though

I'm going to try some Z-12 and Zaino Claybar on it tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll break out the 3M Cleaner Clay. I'll let you know how it goes.

Use this product. It will make your windows so clean, you'll think your windows are open.

You could always just use an abrasive cleaner too, see if that works. Something like Comet. You'll have to wash it again afterwards, but it might get what ever is on there off. Just don't use it on your paint

If the Zaino CLay don't work, the other clay isn't gonna do any better.

What you have could be one of two things.

The outgassing of the new plastic in your car. Or it could be w/e dressing you appied to the dash, with the heat of the sun, evaporates. Its stubborn to take off with water, a little easier with window cleaner, but this will make it a lot easier with less fuss.

Thanks for the info, but actually the 3M Cleaner Clay is much more abrasive than the Zaino clay. I experienced this first hand when I was removing baked on brake dust on one of my wheels. The Zaino clay wouldn't do a thing and the 3M Cleaner Clay started pulling stuff out of the wheel and worked really well. Bearing, the 3M stuff costs $35 per clay bar.
