i really dont know how i feel. i like the hard curves and strong edges on the current E90. i dont know how i feel about it being "softened" up. meh. lets just wait and see

So found on M3 forum, the new M3 german price list.
Dated december 2007, it includes M3 Sedan with Facelift.

If The M3 sedan can be ordered in december. We can believe that E90/E91 get the FL early next year (jan/feb '08).

You can believe... but:
First official premiere of the FL sedan is at the motor show in Geneva. FL is expected for Sept. 08 (my 09).

Yes Geneva show is what i read too. But 2 things:
- The 1st spy pic of the E90 FL is out now since almost 1 year
- Press Unveiling a FL in january/February just before Geneva show already happened in the past with BMW.

I think this is just the problem.

You, like myself, and like most everyone else it seems (if you read the boards) has assumed that the E90 M3 has the same nose as the E92 M3 simply because all E90s will soon share noses with all of their E92 brothers.

I don't really believe this is true anymore. The M3 sedan is not facelifted at all.

Instead, BMW has given the E90 M3 the E92 M3 nose mainly for functional reasons. After all, they share the same motor, and BMW has designed the bodywork to help that motor breathe. Secondarily they share the same track width, so this allows the use of the same flared front fenders for both cars, rather than have a special set for the E90.

The non-M E90 will still get a face-lift next year, no doubt on that. But it will only be to update the styling and will probably do nothing to make it and the non-M E92 look any more similar than they do now.

The camoe'd hood looks like it's hiding some kind of power dome or something.......... hmmmmm........

That and the larger intakes makes me wonder if we will see some kind of power increase......

I read somewhere else that the new hood-form is pederstrian-friendly. It's mean that the new design is more a question of safety than power increase.
