Pod Filter For The 320

so i was looking at getting a pod filter for the 320 (for sound not for hp gains lol) and i needed to know what diameter the intake neck is, i have circled the part in question in the image.

my plan is to remove the underside of the airbox and run a larger pod.. think its been done before.

thanks

Yes this has been done. Don't remember the diameter but helped SBC install his K&N pod. Gives it a nice VTEC changeover noise

KNE-2021 is direct replacement. Jeef Beef was a massive help and actually wrote up a DIY for what he did. The sound in combination with BMW PE is great. Not much 'go' but its aurally pleasing. At 4500rpm the engine tone changes and at ~5000rpm you get some nice 'woooshing' sound.

Comes with clamp. You have a torx T20 I imagine cos there's about 6 bolts.

Always better to be aurally pleased
