Vrfs 7in fmic hardware

I bought a used 7in vrsf fmic and the guy never sent the bolts for mounting it up. Are they special bolts are can I hit a hardware store and use any bolts that will fit? Tried to pm vrsf and haven't gotten a reply back in 3-4 days so figured I'd post here quick. Thanks for the help

I dont think VRSF sells the kit separate, your best bet is to check what hardware is needed and source it from a local store

The one bolt that goes in the plastic at the bottom seemed like it would strip out easily if you messed with it much. The stock hardware was a stud. I bought my intercooler used and didn't have good hardware. So I went to Menard's hardware section and grabbed what they call a Hanger Bolt. It is course thread like the factory bolt. The other side is 1/4-20 thread. So I used a 1/4-20 nut to retain the intercooler. It was 2.5" in length but a 3" length might have been better. It would make it easier to start the nut on the bolt. But the 2.5" length worked well enough. This worked great and there are no worries of stripping that plastic mounting hole.

I tried to add pictures but the app won't let me do that easily. The link to the part is below.

^^ This would have been the most difficult piece to find. Other than two of these you need:

2 rubber washers to fit on each of the above screws
2 metal washers
2 nuts
4 or 5 tbolt clamps depending on if you have an aftermarket chargepipe.

As for the size you will need I am not sure but you can ask Tiago. I found that in order to get the screw pictured above on I needed to turn two nuts against each other and use that leverage to get it to screw into the plastic

We sell the screws separately although you'd be better off sourcing them from your local hardware store seeing as how they're less than a dollar for both of them.
