has anyone replaced their rear brakes? I have a problem.

I did mine today but I think something is wrong with the anti squell spring on my left side.

Here is a video showing it. Is it on correctly, incorrectly, or is it bent?

Hmm, did you try the spring from the other side and see if that spring fits snug? That way you can see if its the spring or the bracket that's bent/bad

nope, that seems too loose! how did you take the clip out exactly? There are 2 "teeth" or clip extensions going in the caliper bracket holes (right side of the video), are they bent too?

Don't use that clip please and I'm not saying this for the rattling noise. It'll come flying out and do more damage somewhere else. As someone else suggested, compare with the clip on the other side.

You have the anti-rattle clip inserted correctly, but it looks as though the clip is malformed. I bent mine up during my install and had a similar problem. Just order a new one ($10 I think) from BavAuto or Getbmwparts.com. I drove my car for a week without it with no ill results--not even any rattling.
