Angel Eye Upgrade

I want to upgrade the headlights on my 2009 e90 but the code on my headlights is HCR which from what ive read is halogen and all the upgrades ive seen are only for xenon. Are there any angel eye upgrades i can use without xenons? Ive looked at Cree and LUX but those both say your car needs xenons.

You would more than likely be looking at a full headlight conversion- not cheap. Others may be able to explain more.

2011 E90 328i  [10.00]
The install requires a bit of work vs. the w/ xenon, which I just did last night.

If you want to keep your headlights intact, Lux or HighPerformanceBulbs. If you wanna crack em open and go nuts, OSS.

Lux or Mtec.

It's easier when you take the wheel off, but if you have small hands you can do it yourself.

Yep halogens. I do see the glass corona rings (I think) along the outside. Not too familiar with the halogen setups, but as said prior, Lux LEDs may be an option.
