Exhaust much quieter after JB3?!

i had my jb3 1.4 gen 3 on for a couple months and took it out because i thought i was selling my car. After taking the tune out the stock 335 e92 exhaust was noticeably louder. I put the jb3 back in and now i know i am not crazy the exhaust is quieter again... thoughts?

By running higher wastegate DC at idle/cruise, you channel more of the exhaust through the turbos which chop up the pulses and reduces exhaust volume and changes exhaust tone.

I noticed this too. I had taken out my jb3 for a week and my muffler deletes were so damn annoying I hated it.

haha yeah i was going to do the muff delete when i was running the jb3 but when i took it out i didn't think i needed it. now that its back in its really quiet. thanks shiv for the explanation! terrance it says in your sig your running magnaflow race not a muffler delete.

i uses this trick to tell if I'm running stock or tune maps on the procede

...

when my exhaust is load , means i'm on valet mode ... when it's quite : means i'm on maps
