20" Rims
Hi guy's,
I am thinking about buying a new set of rims for my 2006 BMW 325i e90 as i am getting kind of bored with the current ones. I want to get 20" all around but i am not really sure on what is the widest i can go because i also want to lower it and i dont want any scraping in the guard and do not want to roll the fendors. If anyone can help that will be muchly appreciated! Thank-you in advance |

Aren't 19 and 20's too heavy?

I'm pretty sure that the lightest rims would be 18's not 19's. Just look at the average weight on tirerack. Thats why I went with the lightest 18's that I could afford. Don't forget about the heavier tires when you go up a size.

Like I said way too many variables I have 18" stock Sport Package wheels on my car when I bought it, I bought 19X8.5 and 19X10 wheels (and they are lighter..tell me how that is possible) |

I'm not advocating for 20" rims but I heard that 20" tires are cheaper than 19" tires due to availability. Is this correct?

You are comparing stock wheels to after market ones. Don't forget tire weight goes up in size. How much do your 19's weigh?

Do you live near Angelina Pivarnick from Jersey Shore? If so can you ask her what she would do for a Klondike bar?

Lol the question is what she wouldn't do for a Klondike bar? It's an hour away from me maybe I can photo bomb the show.

All other things being equal a 19" wheel will be heavier than an 18" wheel but this does not imply that all 19" wheels are heavier than all 18" wheels. CA

I bet my forged set of 19's are lighter than my aftermarket 18's. Like others posted, too many variables. 20's fit on the car, rock them - I would if I could find a set I really liked.

Worst wheels ever, you would fit nicely in Brooklyn though.
