Which tune produces more power - JB4 or Procede?

With all things being equal ( DP, intake, exhaust, FMIC, gas, transmission.... ), which tune produces more power? Don't mean to start a war here, but I'm in the process of deciding which tune I should get.

They should be the same. But from what I have read, people have been having some problems with proceed so I would go with the JB4 only because it's such a popular tune for our cars.

Ive had the JB4 for 5 months now and still no issues. I just installed it and forgot about it....lol "Knock on wood"

......and people have had issues with the JB4. I have had the proceed on my car for some time now and have installed it on other cars. Zero issues at all. I think the guys that are having issues with them are probably installing them incorrectly (loose connections, etc. )

most are having SES light issues, but that is minor.

very similar. JB4 probably has the customer service advantage, but Procede has the #s of sensors and computer power/adjustability because of it as an advantage.
JB4 has the cost advantage unless you can find a Procede used as I did.

All the same. Whichever is local to you is the best way to go. More support.

I know Dinan, AA, OE Tuning, BMW PPK are all ECU "tune". But I want something that can be reversed by myself. All "tune" that you referred to can only be tuned back to stock by the company if it's reversible. JB4 and Procede are piggyback "tune". But both can be installed and uninstalled by user. And that's a big plus for a lot of people. By the way, I did not invent the word "tune" when referring JB4 and Procede. That's how www.vishnutuning.com and www.burgertuning.com refer Procede and JB4 as "tune".

I love the user tunability of the Procede. I love that I can adjust the IAT safety thresholds and any of the maps I want (for the most part) to make the most power for *my* car that runs on the awesome gas we have in the midwest (94 octane, E85, whatever).

I do *NOT* like the customer service, so far. Thank god Kalud (user on this forum) is so helpful and experienced with the Procede - Vishnu Performance really should pay him, or offer a discount to him or something, he's helped a lot of us when they wouldn't.

I've called Vishnu 3 times since owning the unit and have never talked to a live person and have never received return phone call. When I ordered the unit, I asked if it was in stock first, Robert was very quick and responding to my PM's *until* I sent my money. Then it took days to respond only to find out they didn't have parts in stock.

It's a great product, and if it weren't for the possibility of a procede control big single for the N55 looming in the distant future, I might have gone JB4. Especially since they are putting out the E85 maps soon and God knows if us Proceders will ever get support.
