Remanufactured fuel pump for warranty repair?

I finally got my e93 back after a fuel pump failure on New Year's eve. I was surprised to see that a remanufactured fuel pump had been installed by the dealer. Somehow or somewhere I had the impression that the new replacement pumps for this infamous high pressure fuel pump problem were being provided by a different vendor. I asked the service manager if the replacement pump was made by a different manufacturer, he said no.

Does anyone know the straight story on how the infamous 335i fuel pump failure is supposed to be repaired. Is a remanufactured fuel pump acceptable? Is it normal practice?

Screw that remanufactured ... the original design was faulty, remanufacturing it is still faulty be design! I would insist on the new, Bosch pump, as I understand it, Seimens made the original faulty pump or at least had a run of pumps with faults as most don't have fuel pump issues. Has anyone else gotten a remanufactured fuel pump? That would be a good poll.

I also got a POS remanuf Fuel pump which I think is still acting up.Today I tried to get it replace and some dumb ass temp basically said due to my exhaust and drop in airfilter they can't do anything about it. Funny part is I had all that stuff the first time i was changed out.SO I guess I have to wait for my regular advisor.
