fitting angel eyes to my e91
Hello everyone

Just need the headlight from a later model where they were fitted as standard 09 onwards I think. Straight plug and play I have them fitted myself. Paid £275 for a mint set with no broken lugs which is about the going rate for a set

That's great news thank you.
You wouldn't have a part number handy? Is it the whole headlight you change? Some one told me you have to change the internals? Sorry for my ignorance it's my first BMW had only VW's before. |

Nope no internals need changing!
Get on ebay and type in 'e90 LCI Headlight' Thats what you need and its a full headlight swap and is straight plug and play! |

As far as I'm aware all LCI headlights have AEs, but halogens have the dull yellow ones. Have you considered having bright LED AEs fitted in your own headlights, there is someone on the forum that does it.

Right there is a lot of wishy washy info in here!
You want e90 LCI Halogen headlights, these have AE as standard, all LCI headlights have AE! You can have xenons fitted but it's more work and NOT a simple plug and play! If you want xenons, check my thread "comprehensive xenon parts list". So just to clarify that, you want e90 LCI halogen headlights, which have AE's as standard, this is a full headlight replacement and it is plug and play! You can change all the bulbs in these to make the visual appearance a different colour, but no stripping them apart! The above comment about a guy on this forum changing internals is NOT I repeat is NOT available on these headlights, that is for E92/E93 which are totally different headlights! So don't buy them! |

I really want a straight forward plug and play swap hence the questions. I bought a uprated headlight system for my old Corrado which ment splicing the loom and caused me no end of grief. My wife uses the car the drive our little boy around so can't have the lights failing on her. I'll ring around a few breakers and see what I can dig up. |

I bought a pair of 2012 lci headlights on ebay £250 and fitted them to my 2008 non lci E91. Bit of a job to fit, there are some very good videos on youtube, but well worth it! They plug straight in no modification needed at all. I'm very pleased with mine.
