There is probably a thread on this but i wanted to get some opinions on my specific set up.

I have an E92 335D currently on Ohlins coilovers (set to Ohlins specs on height) with PSS 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 on an 8.5j et35 and 10j et33 rim.

Michelin don't make a 285/30/19 PSS tire!! So it got me thinking could i go up on the profiles? If all is ok i'm sure it will help with comfort and handling/grip. I'm thinking 245/40/19 and 285/35/19. The rolling radius and circumference seem pretty similar between these two tires.

Please could someone give me some views. Any points to consider?

My 245/35/19 just barely touches the fender liner on full lock and it reshaped the liner a little bit. I highly doubt 245/40/19 will fit.

Think you're right, i have 245/35 too and it is very tight.

So for the rear 10" rim would a 295/30/19 be ok with the 245/35/19 front? Reason i ask is Michelin only do 275 and 295 in the 30 profile and i'd like to go a bit wider than 275.

That should be fine. I think robc1976 has the same specs in the rear. You will need fender work and negative camber of course.

You can probably get away with 255/35/19 up front but I wouldn't push it more than that. 245/35/19 would be fine as well since you don't have awd.

I think you may need a bigger offset for that wide. Measure it out. A 295 is 10mm or about 1/2" wider inner and outer.see if you have the clearance. height is about the same. I'm going to try 305/30-19 with 19x11et.42 and fender rolling.

Higher offset would be better but I think robc1976 has the same exact specs 295 on 19x10et33. Might want to confirm that with him. A wider wheel would help (as long as it doesn't stick out past the fender) since the tire wont bulge out as much.
